Virginia, North Carolina, & Georgia...

Heading to Virginia... we left at 4:30 in the morning last Tuesday on the road to our new hometown, Norfolk!

Tony had concocted a route from CT to Norfolk that would miss all of the toll roads - it was scenic, but about 2 hours longer because of the detours... but we arrived to a hot and humid Chesapeake Bay area around 3:30 PM the same day.

We stayed for a night with Tony's new boss and her husband in Virginia Beach. After going to see some apartments, picking up Tony's school books, we got back on the road to North Carolina on Wednesday. We stopped and stayed at my friend Nicolle's house in Raleigh and then headed on down to Georgia on Thursday.

We met Tony's family, parents, Aunt, and niece at a campground where we shared a pop-up camper with Kenai the dog and visited with family and friends.

We are all so proud of you! Keep up the good work! Taylor is attending Macon State in the Fall to become a Nurse!

We headed back to Virginia on Sunday and Tony went to his orientation meeting Sunday afternoon for his PhD program. He will start his job July 24th. Right now it is School work and more school work. Since his classes started on Monday he has been at school from 7:30 AM - 9:30 PM everyday! He is enjoying it though it is challenging.

I have been looking for apartments and we are close to getting a place settled before I leave on Sunday for the TWO WHEEL VIEW bike trip to Argentina. I will start classes Aug 22nd at Norfolk State. I met with some of the professors yesterday and am looking forward to starting the program. I will also be looking for a job while going to school. Tony will move in June 15th and I arrive back to VA the 27th, we will spend July and August getting more things moved from Ohio and CT, going back up to New England for Cape Cod and a wedding also.
