Lot's of changes

So after the holidays we pushed hard to finish our last few semesters of schoolwork.

In MAY of 2011 the hard work paid off and Cassie Graduated with her MSW from Norfolk STATE! We are truly happy for her and believe she has found her calling.

Tony has accepted a position in Golden, CO. It is at the Colorado School of Mines. It is full time contract work, little pay but a good step in the correct direction.

Cassie is off to Norway today to work another awesome bike trip. She is actually in Colorado already but leaving. She drove across country visited some awesome sights along the way, hung out with friends and family, and bonded with her lovely mother the entire way who helped split the driving.

Tony will not be leaving until the 29th of July. Work begins August 8. He is still in school for one more semester then the dissertation process begins.

Cassie and I have traveled to the Outerbanks in NC, Cape Cod for 4th of July and taught SUSIE how to eat lobster....YUM, went to NC for a camping weekend with Amy and her new BEAU. That was nice. Tony did a bike tour trip from Norfolk to Fredericksburg VA 180 miles 4 days and Tony also did a 12 Pacific Northwest mountaineering training in Washington state. THAT TRIP WAS AMAZING along with the others of course.

Lastly on a sad note we traveled to CT after Cassie's Grandmother passed. She was a wonderful British woman from London. She taught me a lot of British culture to help me connect with my own roots, being that my Great Grandmother was from England and I knew her at a very young age. She will be missed but live a happy wonderful life that stretched over several wars and world events.

There have been changes but most for the positive. We are excited to get to Golden! Cassies says the apartment is way better than what we live in now so that will help the move be easier. Leaving Old Dominion will be tough. The experience has been great. You never know I might be back!

Stay in touch, thanks for reading the blog. Enjoy yourself and each other!
LOVE
